v0

Vercel’s AI builder for UIs and full-stack apps, generating Next.js, Tailwind and shadcn/ui code you can deploy to Vercel.

FreemiumApp Builders

v0 is Vercel’s AI builder. It creates what it calls real code, full-stack apps, and agents, from high-fidelity UIs and landing pages to dashboards, ecommerce stores, and AI apps. It works with Next.js, Tailwind, and shadcn/ui, so what you get is component code in a stack many front-end developers already use, and you can deploy it in one click to infrastructure powered by Vercel.

It is more than a code generator: v0 describes an agent that can search the web, inspect a site, fix errors, and use external tools. The free plan lists GitHub sync, Design Mode, and deploying to Vercel, which makes it practical to bring generated code into a repository rather than leaving it inside the tool.

Pricing is credit-based. According to v0’s pricing page, Free includes $5 of monthly credits and is limited to 7 messages a day. Plus is $30 a month with $30 in monthly credits per user plus $2 in daily login credits, Business is $100 per user per month, and Enterprise is custom. If you already deploy on Vercel with Next.js, that fit is the reason to choose it; if you do not, a more neutral builder may suit you better.

Verdict: the natural choice for front-end and Next.js developers who want AI-generated UI code they can own and deploy on Vercel. Compare Lovable, Bolt, and Replit, and see what vibe coding is for the approach.
