Lovable

An AI app builder: describe what you want in chat and Lovable generates a full-stack web app you can sync to GitHub.

FreemiumApp Builders

Lovable describes itself as a full-stack AI development platform for building, iterating on, and deploying web applications using natural language. You describe what you want in a chat, and it generates a complete application: front end, back end, database, authentication, and integrations. Its docs list everything from prototypes and dashboards to SaaS products, internal tools, marketplaces, and websites as things people build with it.

Two points matter for developers. You keep ownership of the code, and projects can be synced to GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket, so what Lovable generates can move into a normal engineering workflow. And apps can be published to a live URL on Lovable, or deployed to your own infrastructure after syncing to version control. It also lists connectors such as Supabase and Slack for extending an app.

Usage is metered in credits. The free plan gives you 5 daily credits (up to 30 a month) plus 20 monthly Cloud credits, and the paid plans, which Lovable lists at around $25 a month for Pro and $50 a month for Business (a little less when billed annually), add larger monthly credit balances. Bigger tasks cost more credits, so what you pay depends on how much you build. As with any AI-generated app, review the code and the security before real users depend on it.

Verdict: one of the fastest ways to go from an idea to a working web app, especially if you are not a developer. New to the idea? Start with what vibe coding is, then compare Bolt, v0, and Replit.
